The WMO Ina-RTC (World Meteorological Organization Indonesia Regional Training Center) is an official international training hub designated by the WMO. It serves Regional Association V (RA-V), which covers the South-West Pacific region.
The center operates through a joint partnership between the Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) and the Ministry of Public Works.
BMKG Ina-RTC was formally recognized by the WMO in 2012 and had its recognition renewed in 2024. It is located at the Centre for Human Resources Development of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics.
BMKG Ina-RTC organizes capacity-building programs, including online and classroom training, in-house training, and on-the-job training. Additionally, it conducts expert meetings and facilitates collaboration between BMKG and other RTCs, or other National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHS).
